The Palms Crescents Base Ball Team

The “Palms Crescents” base ball team played in the same league as the Los Angeles Crescents.  Very little has been found about them, beyond Los Angeles Herald newspapers between April and August 1903.  E. Nast was the manager.

The Crescents’ name was geographic reference: “Crescent Bay” was another term for the Santa Monica Bay. (See, e.g., Crescent Bay District of the Boy Scouts and Crescent Bay Park).
